Installation Notes
- Determine whether gas is lighter or heavier than air prior to mounting
- Heavy gas LPG detection: 0.3–1.0 m from floor, <1.5 m from gas source
- Lighter gas - Natural gas detection: 0.3–1.0 m from ceiling, <1.5 m from gas source
- Screw securely, and then hang detector on wall, making sure it's stable.
- Avoid placing in dirty, dusty, or oily areas that may block sensor
- Keep away from curtains, strong airflow, windows, or poorly ventilated areas
- Wiring follows local regulations; color coding of wires, as appropriate is recommended
- Avoid installation near fans or ventilation outlets
- Ensure proper connection to solenoid valve or network, if applicable
